Crash When Browsing Large Folders

When I am browsing a large folder while moving from left to right, I constantly get the following message: Error (0Xc0000005) occurred in Thread dopus.asynciconthread at address 0X0000000180001BE3. I am running Windows 8, 64 bit. It seemed to run fine until I upgraded to Version 10.5.

The crash is probably coming from a shell extension which provides icons or icon-overlays. (Cloud synching tools often do this.)

Try turning on Preferences / Folders / Folder Display / Show generic icons for... all folders and see if the crash goes away.

If it does, you'll probably need to use ShellExView to look at which icon-related shell extension you have installed and try disabling them to pinpoint the problematic one. (fully exit and then restart Opus after making changes via ShellExView.)

Failing that, Crash, exit or high CPU usage when viewing certain directories has other suggestions.

It absolutely 100% solved the problem. Thank You.
