Dropbox icons

Hello!

I recently installed Dropbox (www.getdropbox.com) which is an online filesync utility which is really nice. A minor problem is that when I look at my dropbox folder from Explorer, there are tiny icon "overlays" showing the status of the repective file (if it's sync'd or not). These "overlays" are not shown in Dopus :frowning:. Is this be design, or are they supposed to be shown?

I don't know much about Dropbox but this FAQ might be the answer:

Tortoise CVS/SVN or other icon overlays are not shown

it wasn't checked, however a computer restart helped the problem.. thanks anyway.

i'm having the same problem with dropbox icon overlays. checked the faq, didn't help. they display fine in explorer, but there's no sign of them in DOpus.

and a restart didn't help?

wow you're quick!

no, i've been using dropbox for about a month on two machines with DOpus and neither show the overlay icons.

Is Opus blocked from accessing the Internet by a firewall? That would probably prevent the DropBox shell extension from checking the status of things (at least if it runs in-process).

no, it sure isn't...
