When I sort the contents of a folder by date the files are sorted but the oldest or newest is not placed at the top of the file window. There are several files still at the top not shown. I must now scroll up to see the full listing. This happens with sort by name or any other method. The folder contains only files. However if the folder contains at least one other sub-folder then the sort works correctly and scrolls to the top of the list. What am I missing?
Do you have a file selected when you change the sorting?

Is there an option to sort all my folders in descending date order by default? Or even better, can this be set up on a folder by folder basis?
