Icons and Licence

When I switch to other folders they come up as large file icons. I want them to come up as list and details. How do I change the settings? I have been trying to do this for years.

Secondly I have thrown out my previous computer and I am now on another computer. I have received messages about a licence and a warning that Dopus will cease to operate. What do I need to do please? I have found this code:
