Quick Set/Reset Current Lister Format

After reading through this relevant and enlightening FAQ entry I created a menu button which provides a pick list of existing formats and quick access to edit folder formats within Preferences.

I just wanted to point out that your button code above cannot be copied-and-pasted. I believe the XML code was changed during the post [by the old forum software].

In the mean time, I have a Menu-Button with nearly the same (perhaps a little more even) on it that folks can use.

To get the above button to your Opus configuration:

  1. Copy the button code above to your clipboard.
  2. Right-click any Opus toolbar and select Customize.
  3. Right-click on the desired toolbar/menu to add the button to, and select Paste.

I've added some things to the button I posted above, like: Sort Order, Numeric Sort, Format Lock, Autosize Columns, Check Box Mode.

The intent is to give the user (and me) a single place to look for all commands related to Folder Options and Folder Formats. In this version of the button, I have turned off all images. I think the menu looks cleaner this way (and it takes up less space). The images are still present in the buttons, they are just not displayed. You can easily turn the images back on if you like.
