I have used the View > Folder Options > Display tab to set defaults for most of my folders and sub-folders. So far, so good. However, there are times when I want to change views (from Large Icons to Details, for example) and keep the Details view as I move through the sub-folders. However, if the Display option for Large Icons has been previously applied to the sub-folders, then the Details view is lost as soon as a sub-folder is opened.
Is there any way to make Dopus retain the non-default Display for subfolders (a temporary sticky setting) in this instance?
I don't want to have to change the default setting and then change it back when I'm done, I just want Dopus to understand that if I switch from default view "A" to some other view "B" that I want "B" to be retained for all the sub-folders until the main folder is closed. Then it can revert back to the default.
If this is not possible, how do I make it a feature request?
