I have Windows Media Audio/Video Playlists (ASX) and I only want to see the content, not playing it when I opened the viewer pane. Even if I removed the .asx extension in the Movie Viewer Plugin, it still starts this plugin. The only way to see the content (plain text) is to unchecked the Movie Viewer Plugin in the Viewer Plugins Preferences, but it's not what I want.

The Opus 12.0.5 public beta will have a solution for you. It should be out in the next day or so.
You can now block the Movie plugin from handling certain extensions (even if their registry information specifies they are video types) by adding them to the list of extensions with a ~ before them. For example .avi,.mpg,~.wmv would tell the plugin to handle .avi and .mpg but ignore .wmv files.
