Remember each folder's view settings

Howdy All,

Like in Windows XP Explorer, is it possible for Opus to remember view settings for individual folders ... up to some user-defined number of folders?

Yes, see the Folder Formats FAQ, which is the 2nd in the list of FAQs (organised by subject), I think.

Thank you for your quick reply leo :open_mouth: ! I spent nearly an hour trying different searches but didn't find the answer.

So, there is no way to have this done automatically, like XP Explorer does? These steps must be manually performed for each and every folder that I want displayed differently from a default or content-type selection, correct?

That's correct. (Sorry, I didn't realise that's what you were asking before.)

If you want to save a format for a particular folder you have to tell Opus to save it and can't make it automatic. (Apart from what Content Type formats allow you to do, as you say.)
