12.21 Installer: can't accept the license agreement!

Neither mouse nor keyboard works.

I have checked the 12.21 installer on two machines and it worked normally. One was a fresh install and the other an update over 12.20.

  • Which version of Windows are you using?

Looks like Windows 10 from the screenshot, but I might be wrong.

    Is it 32-bit or 64-bit?

  • Were you able to install 12.20 before this without this problem?

The installer has not changed since the previous version (unless you used the legacy installer designed for Windows XP the last time).

  • Do other installers made with InnoSetup work?

e.g. Download innosetup-6.0.5.exe from https://jrsoftware.org/isdl.php and see if you can accept the licence in that. (You can cancel after that stage.)

  • Is anything installed which changes the way windows/dialogs, the mouse, or keyboard input works?

  • Have you tried rebooting to see if the problem goes away?

Something else that might be a factor:

  • Which language is Windows set to on your machine?

It worked for me when I retried after a while.

PS Windows 10 Pro 64-bit English 10.0.18363 Build 18363.

Can you TAB to each control on this dialog?

Maybe with using cursor up key? And press ENTER after successfully selecting the proper radio-button.

I wonder if Windows thought a key was stuck down on the keyboard or something like that. Sometimes it gets confused, especially if a key is down when a UAC prompt appears. This usually only affects a single process when it happens.

Yes, that didn't work. (I tried Space to select).

IDK. I tried restarting and even re-downloading the installer and it wasn't helping. Didn't see any issues in any other apps.

Until someone else reports this, I believe my issue was unrelated to DOpus.
