9.0.0.8 3.0.19.2 Excel docs still not opening

On Vista Ultimate 64-bit trying to open and Excel document still fails (listed as fixed in new release notes), also when right clicking on them and choosing open with Excel it crashes Directory Opus and opens Excel with now Documents.
