A couple of DOpus Questions

Is it possible to use DOpus to copy a file path to the clipboard. I've found it easy enough to copy a folder path from the Path Bar, but what about a file path?

A feature that I always found really handy in my previous file manager, Powerdesk, was the ability to right click on a file and then choose "Copy To" or "Move To" from the right click context menu. A small file management applet would open allowing me to browse to the folder to which I wanted to copy or move the file. This applet also remembered history of previous file destinations. Very handy.

I'm not saying that Powerdesk was anywhere as near as good as DOpus because in my opinion it wasn't, however this was a good feature that maybe could be incorporated into DOpus in future.

Firstly, there's a FAQ which asks people not to post multiple questions in single posts.

You can copy the file path by using the default menu option : Edit / Copy Filenames ...

Opus will prompt you for a destination for copy and move functions if no lister is set as the destination.

Firstly, I'll go and beat myself with a stick as I read the FAQ.

Thanks for the answers.

For the paths you can make a button using Clipboard COPYNAMES.

Which is one of the options I pointed the poster to in my first reply.

As Steve says, that happens automatically if there is no destination folder.

In addition, you can make it happen even if there is a destination if you want Copy To and Move To buttons for times when you want to copy to somewhere else but don't want to change the destination or open a new window.

These are the commands:

Copy TO=ask
Copy MOVE TO=ask
