Accessing GO bar from special directories

The GO bar in OPUS is extremely versatile. I love the ability to navigate from directory to directory by just typing "/" and then the alias of the directory. Similarly, I enjoy being able to directly run any command from within a lister by hitting ">" to activate the GO bar.

However, I've found that in "special" directories these don't work. For instance, if I am in the /cookies directory or the /fonts directory, I can't type "/temp" to shift to the temp directory. This seems anomalous: From any normal directory I can type "/cookies" to go to the cookies directory; but I can't then type "/temp" to go to another directory.

Similarly, within /cookies and /fonts I can't activate the GO command bar by typing ">".

Is there any way to get to the GO bar from these special directories?

You can push Shift-Return to activate it when in those folders.

(Or push F4 to activate the path field, which you can also type aliases into.)

Thanks, Leo! You guys have really thought of everything!

(You might want to consider adding the info about shift-enter into the help page entitled "Find-as-you-type Field". That's where I looked originally, but I found that although the page specifies direct keystrokes for Command, Range, Search, and other functions, it doesn't specify any keystroke for the Go function).

Agreed; I've made a note to work it in there somehow.
