AcdSee and Directory Opus 8 and more

Hello,

I'd came from using Acdsee and see it was possible to display a thumbnail in a photo format simply in passing the cursor on it
(you have no need to click on the thumbnail to display the photo).

Knowing I use directory Opus 8, does this possibility exist in D8 and in the following ones ?

You can put {thumbnail} in the infotip, under settings -> file types, at least in Opus 9. I can't remember is Opus 8 let you do it as well.

Yes DO 8 displays the infotip and I think it's a default setting but I didn't find something about the same feature in ACDSEE.

In case somebody could have a look at file types in seetings I have a little difficulties to overcome ...

I'm not sure I've understood the question.

  • If you put the mouse over a file the tooltip will appear.
  • If you put {thumbnail} in the tooltip, a thumbnail will appear in it.

What's missing?
