Double-click on what?
Double click on a toolbar.
I have already set up a button to close a toolbar and open another, however, I was wondering if an action can be defined to do the same thing, or any other thing of my choosing, just by left double-clicking on a toolbar, or shift left double-click, or right double-click, or whatever I define that action to be.
Oh I see. You had to put the action in a button (or hotkey or menu). You could make a button that has a blank icon and label so that it looks like you are clicking on the toolbar but it would still really be a button that you click on.
You can make buttons which do different things depending on which keys you hold down when you click them, if that's any use.
Thanks for that info, nudel.
But in a round about way, I guess your answer to my question is "No", correct?
No way to make a true action for a toolbar.
I got the idea from the way we can just double-click inside a lister, and it will navigate up one directory level. Now, there's other ways to make that navigation, but sometimes it's just more convenient to double-click an empty space.
Well, by the same token, I'm thinking sometimes it would just be more convenient to double-click an empty space on a toolbar to close it, or whatever....
See?
There's no way to do that at the moment.
OK, I can live with that. Thanks.
