how do I activate the PDF viewer? I am not able to view PDFs from within Directory Opus which is really annoying!

No, I can't. Which I guess means I need to install Adobe Acrobat reader?

If the PDF viewer has a compatible ActiveX control then it might work in Opus. Seeing it work in Internet Explorer would be the first step.
