Use the path in the open clipboard in the address bar

Can't reproduce on my system.

It opens the path in a new Opus window for me.

What happens may depend on whether or not Explorer Replacement is on, and possibly on the default web browser (or at least file:// URL handler).

We probably don't have explicit file:// URL support so we may be passing the URL to the OS to handle.

Why would you be pasting file:// URLs into Opus? We can probably add support if there's a good reason to do that.
