Advice regarding moving to Win8 - saving /restoring

Hello,

I'm about to (well tomorrow) rebuild my PC, moving from Win7 to Win8. I'm NOT upgrading but rebuilding from scratch using an oem version of windows.

I have a very customised DO setup, on version 10.5.2.0 (6913) x64. I'll be keeping the basic drive structure i already use. (Using 5 hard drives.)

Is there a guide to migrating to Win8? Will my backup configurations load and work? Should I do something other than just a normal complete backup, i.e should I backup individual buttons or such like?

Any advice on this subject would be greatly appreciated. Opus is the core to my PC, by far the most important software I use. Its important to me i get Opus right under Windows 8. If its a case so starting with basic default Opus install and having to redo all my customisations so be it..

Thanks.

You don't need anything special. A normal config backup and restore is all you should normally need.

Thanks Leo, that is GREAT to hear! Much appreciated.
