The first time I click desktop, after boot up, the icon appears in the tray and does not open the lister. After the first time, click on desk top does open the lister.
Did reinstall and went with basic configuration. Same thing.
I have mouse single click set to open programs.
Have tried every setting in opening listers.
Running win 7.
Not sure exactly what you mean by "click desktop." (The desktop itself? An icon for Desktop? The Opus icon on the desktop?)
It sounds like whatever you're doing is just starting Opus, in which case go to Preferences / Launching Opus / Startup and set it to open the default lister when it starts.
I'm assuming he's double-clicking on the desktop background...
Either way - since you said it behaves more like you want if you "start dopus with windows first", then you've probably got the following option enabled:
What this means is that the first time you launch dopus.exe - no listers will open. I'd say that if you ARE launching Opus on Windows startup - then you want this set to not open any listers. If you're NOT launching Opus on Windows startup, then I'd imagine most people would want to 'change' this option to open a lister of 'some' sort based on the options shown above...
That is how I now have it set up. Start with windows, don't open any listers. Double click the desktop and either open saved lister or default lister would not open a lister and I tried various settings.
I will stay with this config as both machines are fast and not much overhead.
Thanks for all the replies and I think we can close this thread
