like the firefox addon.

[addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/12](https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/12)

allows you to execute common commands using mouse gestures, rocker navigation, scroll wheel navigation and page scrolling.

example:

[optimoz.mozdev.org/gestures/](http://optimoz.mozdev.org/gestures/)

would be great for folder navigation.

Yeah I always thought this would be a nice addition to Opus. I use them as well in my browser (in my case Maxthon) to go forward and backward and the same could be used in Opus.

If you search the forum there have been people in the past who have added this ability to Opus using a third-party utility (I don't remember which off-hand.)

There's a FAQ on gestures:
[[HOW TO: Use Mouse Gestures with Opus](http://resource.dopus.com/t/how-to-use-mouse-gestures-with-opus/1920/1))

which links to this thread:
[[Tip: Adding mouse gestures to Directory Opus!](http://resource.dopus.com/t/tip-adding-mouse-gestures-to-directory-opus/1377/1))

where StrokeIt and PowerPro are both mentioned.
