Always display the full location path in the location bar

If I open a folder on the desktop the location bar will only display the folder name and not include the full location path. This does not apply for other locations. For example under drive C:\

If I click in the location bar the whole path is displayed.

How can I make Directory Opus always display the full location, even if the folder is on the desktop? Is it possible at all?

You could go to the folder via /desktopdir instead of /desktop.
