Is it possible to assign a hotkey to a "Saved Layout"? In my case, that would be “Default (ped)”.
Not directly in this menu but via Prefs LAYOUT, e.g.
Okay, then I would like to try another approach.
If I create a button, what is the code to open the lister layout "Default (ped)". Is this possible?

I'm such an idiot. I did not understand, how "Left, Center, Right, ..." will select a saved layout.
Only now do I realize that these are the names that lxp uses for its layouts. I have once again confirmed the insight that “the problem is usually sitting in front of the screen”.
