Hello,

stupid windows 8 won't open its stupid image "app" because UAC is disabled.

So when opening (double clicking or else) pictures outside of dopus a warning is issued and the pictures cannot even be previewed.

Is there a way to associate the most common image extensions to the dopus viewer?

I'd rather not waste my time going into the registry and changing them all one by one if at all possible.

I'm using the latest dopus 10.
Thanks!

A couple of methods can be found here: [Use the Opus image viewer inside or outside of Opus](https://resource.dopus.com/t/how-to-use-the-opus-image-viewer-inside-or-outside-of-opus/1326/1).

Thanks!

in the meantime I found this, which seems even better suited for windows 8/7:

> [@Add Image Viewer to default programs list](https://resource.dopus.com/t/add-image-viewer-to-default-programs-list/9514/1):

> Note: This is a slightly better version of [HOW TO: Use the Opus image viewer inside or outside of Opus](https://resource.dopus.com/t/how-to-use-the-opus-image-viewer-inside-or-outside-of-opus/1326/1). The attached registry file will register Directory Opus as a program to open images in. You can then navigate to the "Default Programs…
