I had the problem some months ago: When accessing e.g. Desktop or PDA, DO needs longer to show than Explorer.
I know DO was as fast as Explorer, but I don't know why it's slower now.
Also... why the "cancel" doesn't respond when accessing devices which are offline (network, deleted folders that appears in lister,...)?
Move /dopusdata/Formats/system.off to somewhere else and see if that speeds things up.
If it does, please attach the old system.off file that was causing problems so it can be investigated.
Yeah, it was about 5 MB.
What infos does it include? Can I delete this file from time to time?

You can delete it or write protect it if you want. It stores the setup of virtual folders so they look the same next time you use them. (Which columns are on, how wide they are, sort order... that sort of thing.)
Please attach a copy of the file if it was causing the slowdown. Last time someone did we were able to work out what was wrong and make Opus handle the situation better.
