Is there an easy option for Background Color change. especially when viewing photos (thumbnails), I like to have it gray in Adobe Bridge.
I don't mean Themes, just the folder view.
You can change colors under Preferences / Display / Colors and Fonts.
File Display Background (the very first color in the list, at least if Opus is set to English) will change the background color of the file display.
but this setting is global so all lister will have that backround, is there any option to bind those settings to the a lister?
There is also a background color option in Folder > Folder Options (and the similar Preferences / Folders / Folder Formats)
its not really what I am looking for, however, I might use the theme option when using it as picture viewer.
But there is no setting to link a lister with a special theme.
If you cannot answer the following question in this request I will for sure open a new topic.
in the description when applying a theme it is mentioned to backup current settings to a theme. How do I do this. Using the Backup will save everything in a special file but not a theme file
Themes are just a way to share your colors with other people. They aren't really important here.
I'm not sure exactly what you are looking for or why the background color options aren't the ones you want.
Could you explain what you want to change in more detail? Maybe with a screenshot showing what you mean. I suspect the confusion may be because we're not using the same terms for the same things.

That background color for the file display itself can be chosen/overridden per folder, but most of the other colors (e.g. folder tree, status bar, etc.) are process-wide, and not easily swapped between when changing folders.
The toolbar colors can be overriden per toolbar, but you'd have to duplicate your toolbars and swap between the two copies, which would be a pain to maintain.
But why not use the dark view for everything?
yes you are right, using dark view might be an option. so how do I backup my current thema (default) that I can easy switch between that settings

That would only change the file display background, not everything else.
