I know my question is simple for most of you gurus out there, but for me, I know enough to be dangerous. Here is what I'm trying to accomplish:
I have a version of DO on my portable drive but it does not allow me to perform backups like the installed version on my PC. But because I make frequent changes to settings, buttons, layouts, etc. I periodically archive the entire DO folder (below). What I would like to do is create a button that will archive the folder into the z:\google drive\dopus backups folder. Right now I archive the folder x:\sclite (where DO is currently) and move it to the above mentioned folder. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Here's a sample button. You would need to change the target folder in the @set dir statement. I like to navigate to the saved configuration file but if you don't want to do that you can drop the last two statements.
I don't think aussieboykie's command will do anything on a portable install of Opus, since the "Prefs BACKUP" command doesn't do anything. (You just backup the DOPUS directory instead, since all the settings are in one place.)
So all you need to do is change the where the archive is written to?
This is the current script I use:
Copy ARCHIVE HERE FLATVIEWCOPY=recreate CREATEFOLDER="{dlgstringS|Please enter the Zip file name.\n\nThe current date and time will be appended to the name.|Archive}-{date|yyyyMMdd}_{time|HHmmss}
