On a drive encrypted with Bitlocker, if you have enough folders in a single directory such that they don't all fit on the screen in Details mode, scroll down to one of the lower folders, enter it, then go back. The folder you just left isn't on the screen anymore - the view slides back to the top of the list.
What's the connection to Bitlocker? As far as I know, an unlocked Bitlocker drive should behave the same as a normal drive. Do you only see it on the Bitlocker drive?
Are you using "Go UP" or "Go UP BACK" to go back to the parent folder?
Is Preferences / Folders / Folder Behaviour / Select previous folder when going Up on?
I've tested this extensively. It always happens on my Bitlocker drive, and never happens on any other drive.
I'm using "Go Back".
That setting was not on, but turning it on didn't change anything.
Any news on this, or is it still just me? The same folders work as expected in Explorer. Just BitLocker drives, and just DOpus...
No similar reports so far. There may be something more to it than just Bitlocker as we use Bitlocker all the time and have not been able to reproduce it so far.
Any suggestions how I can test further?
Any scripts installed?
A video of what happens might create some ideas on things to try.
OK now it's happening in a non-Bitlocker drive.
Not sure what a video could show. I enter a folder, I go back, and the focus is at the top of the file list instead of at the folder I just left...
I do have a few scripts installed, but disabling them doesn't change the behavior.
