Hello, I have Windows 7 64 Bits and Directory Opus 10.0.1 64 Bits. When I open it the status bar looks fine, however after some hours of usage (I have DO opened all the day, approximately 12 hours) the status bar becomes black, look:
I have to close and reopen it to see it correctly again:
I'm not using third party themes, only Windows 7 default aero theme.
Is it a bug or is there any solution?
Thanks in advance.
You can almost certainly rule out Opus to be responsible for this, i would say. Maybe some task is scheduled or antivirus scanner interacting
with the program?
It looks like the Opus window no longer has the "glass" effect extended into the bottom area where the status bar is.
When it happens, try toggling the status bar off and back on, via the menu 4th from the right (next to the dual-display, viewer and help buttons).
Do you have anything installed which might affect other programs' windows, or how glass is used, or the windows themes/visual styles?
Do you use any remote-access tools like VNC or Remote Desktop that might be temporarily disabling glass? (I know Remote Desktop itself is fine as I use that all the time, but maybe other tools don't properly inform the running programs when things change, for example.)

Thanks both for your replies.
I have a screensaver from 3Planesoft that disables aero glass when it is launched and reeanble it when I come back to desktop. That is the only thing I use that disables aero. Maybe that is the problem?
It could be that. Does it happen if you leave a window open, wait for the screensaver, then stop the screensaver? (Or just use the Preview button in the screensaver control panel, I guess.)
Why does the screensaver need to disable glass in the first place?
If it is it that's causing the problem, it must somehow be preventing the "glass has been turned on/off" messages from reaching Opus. Other things which do the same (e.g. Windows Media Center when you make it full-screen; not sure if it still does but I think it did in Vista) don't cause the same problem.
Yes, it happens with every window I have opened. When I exit the screensaver aero is disabled and after some seconds it is enabled again. 3Planesoft screensavers have this behaviour, you can't change it.
I'll check it again and if it is the problem I'll uninstall 3Planesoft screensavers
