Bug? Clear button on find output not 'respected'?

Hi All,

Not sure if this is a bug, but can someone confirm the following behaviour?

  1. Open the 'Find' dialog (ie press Ctrl-F)
  2. Search for something that will return results
  3. Press the 'Clear' button on the output window
  4. Change the search criteria, making sure that 'Clear previous results' is unchecked
  5. Run search - previously found search results 'reappear'.

I personally would have expected that pressing 'Clear' on the Output dialogue would have permanently cleared those results, regardless of whether 'Clear previous results' on the Find dialogue was checked or not; but I don't know if this is meant to be behaviour by design?

All the best,

Confirmed... in fact you don't even need to change your search criteria after manually 'clearing' the output window results... just run the same search again, and you'll see the results show up "twice" once for the "first" search, then again for the second (third, fourth, and so on....).

I've submitted a bug report to GPS.
