I installed DO 10.0.4 x64 just now, and the installer complained about missing strings.
The icons were named ID_STRINGxx etc, and the icon on the desktop were ID_DIROPUS.
I just hope the installer didn't do anything bad except that.

32 bit is OK.
64 bit has:
StringIDS_DialogId_12032_ControlId_502 was not found in string table.
Click OK and it carries on with the restart dialog.
After restart the Dopus icon is labelled 'ID_DIROPUS' on the desktop.
It launches OK and looks normal.

Yep just about to report the same here.
Check the digital signature on the installer and if not valid, maybe try downloading again.
I am seeing the same issue with the 64-bit installer. The start menu also has strange entries and I do see the same dialog box. I am running Windows 7 64-bit.
Here is what the start menu looks like
Thanks for the details.
Bugger. What a pile of (expensive) dingo's kidneys is this thing called InstallShield. How can it stuff up when repeating the same thing as 5 minutes before. The test builds earier worked fine.
I've remade the builds and reuploaded them.
Please download the 64-bit version again if you need it and reinstall.
Okay, appears to be working better (i.e., normal) for me at least.
Hurray, the missing string has turned up again.
Thanks.

Right, will re-download / install once I get home!
Nice, thanks!
