Where in preferences can I change the color and thickness of the line that divides the groups?

The thickness can't be changed but you can adjust the colors:

  • Preferences / Display / Colors and Fonts / Toolbar and menu defaults
    • Other Colors: Toolbar and menu defaults
      • Highlight
      • Shadow

(If those have no effect, Opus may be using the Windows theme to draw the separators, which means Windows itself is what determines how they look. I think we only opt out of the theme if you are using light text on a dark background for your toolbars and menus.)

Yes. Highlight updated, after closing Lister, and all is good.
