Button/Command to Upload to Box.net Account

This is my first post and I am newer to Directory Opus (9x).

I searched the forum but could not find any information about box.net. I am looking for a way to create a button or command...or even a way to create a web/net folder that links to my box.net account. I would like to be able to select several files/folders in DOpus and then click a button to upload them to 1 or more box.net accounts. Ideally being able to choose existing box.net folder or even create a new one. I think this is a difficult challenge since box.net does not seem to have FTP access and the only provide drag-n-drop or browse methods for uploading files via a web interface.

I realize it is not incredibly difficult to login to box.net, browse to the folder, choose "upload files" and then drag-n-drop some files into there window. However, I think we can all agree that we appreciate DOpus for its ability to accommodate and simplify frequent tasks.

I am not very familiar with creating commands, scripts or buttons, but I am willing to try anything. Does anyone no of a button or feature like this or even know how feasible this is to create?

Thank you in advance for your help.

Is using a web browser the only way you can upload to Box.net or do they provide some kind of upload tool(s) which you can use instead?

If there's a tool that works via the command line or as a shell extension (e.g. right-click context menu) then it should be easy to integrate it into Opus.

If it can only be done via a web browser then it'll be more difficult.

I haven't found anything (yet) that allows you to do it with an app. I am going to be chatting with Box.net tech support at some point so I will be sure to inquire about some of these things.

It isn't something I need, so I am not looking for anyone to put too much time into it. However, I am sure there are other people who would benefit from something like this.

Thanks for the quick response, Leo.

Wow, dusting off this topic ...

NOW Box.net is useful. And if you have an iOS device (or you have a friend that will log into your new account with his device) you can score 50GB(!) of storage space.

Super sweet!
