Hi to all,
I´m pretty new to Opus (well had it on the Amiga, however that´s long long time ago) and have some questions to more experienced people.
First thing : I´ve bought my Opus online yesterday so I don´t have my permanent licence yet and no information where to get a german manual (I´ve bought a german copy and don´t think it´s wise to install an english manual with it).
I solved my problem with the Lister themes searching the forum, however I see some interesting buttons as well and I don´t have any idea how to implement them. They are kind of listing and when I create a button I can choose from given expressions or .exe files. How to integrate those buttons, please ?
[DOpus.ButtonInfo]
Name=Sort Newest First
Icon=5,9999999
Flags=102,0,0
Color=0,a0a0a0
Func1=Set Sortby=MODIFIED SortReverse=On then just copy it to your clipboard, put Opus into Customize mode and then right-click a toolbar and select Paste.
If you see a button definition like this
Set Sortby=Name SortReverse=Off then you have to create a new button (click New instead of Paste) and then paste the command(s) into the button's Function field.
Check out my tutorial video on toolbar editing if you want a quick (and hopefully fun) way to get up to speed with stuff like this:
There's a Deutsch language pack on the Opus downloads page. I don't know if it contains the manual but it's the same size as the English language pack and bigger than the other language packs so it probably does:

Thanks a lot for the quick answer - workes great - I only have forgoten so save it to a textfile and change the topc to german - but that´s no problem to do.
Thanks for the link with the tutorial, I´m going to have a look at it immediately.
Your link for the language pack is funny:
I can download all language packs - except the german one. The link of the German language pack leads to the company where I bought the german version yesterday- and the have no german manual online. I´ll ask them about it when I get my permanent licence, hopefully on monday
I guess the german version of DOpus is kind of a special case, as it is handled by Haage & Partner (as in the Amiga days). If they provide full support for DOpus, they may have a german manual for it, but usually (i.e. for other languages than english) the manual isn't translated (it is a huge work to translate it).
