I wonder what's going on here... despite the fact that I have the "Calculate Folder Sizes Automatically for [all local and network drives]" the option doesn't work. I have to hover the mouse pointer over folders, or manually click on the "get sizes" button.
Has anyone else experienced this? Is there a known fix?
I'm running Vista Ultimate, if that matters.

That was exactly it! I didn't realize until now that you can specify that on a per-folder basis. At some point I must have accidentally turned it off not understanding what that option did and saved that setting for all folders.
Perhaps there should be a brief mention of this beside the global option to set the "Calculate Folder Sizes" Option.
