In the past, using dopus to call everything to search for files was very fast. However, the recent versions of dopus have become very slow. Using everything's built-in search box, search results appear in seconds, but when calling everything to search, the everything software will have obvious delays and freezes.
You could consider re-indexing in Everything, to see, if that solves the issue.

I'm having the same experience. I can't find any way to increase the scope of Windows indexing, but the "not everything is indexed" msg does go away after a minute or so. Windows "Searching Windows" page reports 0 pending and 1,937,247 indexed.
However, there are a few system folders in the exclude list. I keep removing them, and they keep reappearing. Perhaps these are the culprit? Or perhaps there's another indexing option I'm not taking into account . . . .
Windows Search has a control panel for that, but this thread is about Everything not Windows Search.
