I have a search problem with Opus version 11.17 build 5929. I am running Windows 8.1 Pro. When I attempt a search and select the OK button remains greyed out. I can select an individual drive, but not all the drives. In all the years and versions that I have used Opus I have never come accross this before. Any idea on what might be causing this, and what I can do about it? Thanks
Are you able to add each drive individually?
You can do that either by double-clicking "Add folder to search..." and selecting a drive, then repeating; or by clicking the 'folder with a tickbox' icon just above the list, then ticking all of the drives and clicking OK.
Yes, I can do it that way, by adding a folder, it is just more steps. I wonder what caused the change. Thanks.
This turned out to be due to an API change in Windows 8 which was apparently changed back in Windows 10, since it was OK in Windows 7 and Windows 10 but not Windows 8.
We've fixed it and the fix will be in the next update.
