Am new to Opus; have skimmed entire help file, to no avail.
I was on Windows XP, now that have moved to Windows 7, I got Opus. On XP, Explorer would automatically remember, for each folder you opened with it, its window attributes from its previous instantiation of that folder, such as window location and size. This is the same behavior that many programs do.
Can Opus do this?
Not exactly.
Opus can (optionally) automatically remember the size/position of the last window you closed, or you can make it so those details only update when you explicitly save a new Default Lister.
You can also use Layouts and custom commands (both of which you can create shortcuts to on your desktop, as well as hotkeys, toolbar buttons, etc.) to open specific size windows and/or windows for particular folders.
Leo - thanks for your help. Much appreciated.
