Can you copy (ctrl+C) more than one sequence of text


I'm just wondering if you can copy more than one object when you press CTRL-C. What I usually do is copy one filename and paste it to the rename window and then copy another filename and paste that after. Instead of having to go back to copy the second line, is there a way I can do two copies, like one would be CTRL+C, other one would be CTRL+C+D? (CTRL+V+D for paste?)

I don't think you can do that with CTRL+C but you can create custom buttons that will copy multiple filenames to the clipboard with each name being on a line of its own. Two examples of that are shown below.
