In the past, I was able to drag and drop a thumbnail from within acrobat into dopus to extract that page of the pdf as it's own pdf.
This still works from acrobat into windows explorer but no longer works for dopus.
Any advice on how to get this functionality back?

Fixed! I found this in another forum after searching the google.
This has been a recent problem for me too. Tried so many things, and this finally worked:
Disable Protected Mode by going to Edit > Preferences > Security (Enhanced) and deselecting Enable Protected Mode at startup.
Restart Adobe Acrobat or Acrobat Reader.
