If I go to a folder with images the viewer pane works fine. The instant I select any video files the viewer pane goes black and freezes. At that point I try to close the viewer pane and the entire DO locks up and I need to use task manager to close it.
Edit: I'm running version 12.21 x64
As I know Directory Opus uses Windows Media Player for video playback. Have you tried it with this program?

Thanks. What worked was disabling the Movie plugin and enabling ActiveX + Preview + Office + Web plugin with ONLY the few file types I needed enabled (3D Viewer, Adobe PDF for Vista, Windows Media Player). With the ActiveX options enabled it would crash. Thanks for the info.
