Can't Unzip a File?!?

I've recently downloaded DOpus. I've been having trouble unziping a file.

I've checked the Setting/Preferences/Zip Files and -- as far as I can figure out -- this should work (i.e., all the boxes are "checked").

However, when I double-click, it doesn't extract. I get an error message saying that the file "...is not a valid win32 application."

So what's the problem -- the file itself (a Vista-compatible zipped copy of Nuance's OmniPage 15 OCR software), or some DOpus setting/add-on/trick that I'm not aware of?

Thanks for any help you might be able to provide,

Sounds like the zip file is buggered - does Opus work with other Zip files ?

Steve,

Thanks for your reply.

To update: After I posted here, I shut down my computer. In the process of closing out the various open windows on my monitor, I found -- hidden behind these -- the unzip application I was looking for (asking me where I would like the extracted download to be placed).

There's nothing wrong with the function of the zip file.

However...

FWIW: The unzip functions could be made more user-friendly. With my prior file manager (PowerDesk), I don't recall having this problem. This program had an unzip command in one of its pull down menus. When it was used, the unzip application made itself apparent.

Are you sure you were unzipping the file with Opus? It doesn't sound like it.

How did you start the unzip?
