Can't upgrade

I've just bought the upgrade from 8 to 9 and downloaded the software. Immediately I try to run it I get "The contents of this file cannot be unpacked. The executable you are trying to run has been corrupted."
I have downloaded it twice, using different systems. The message is the same on Vista or XP.

Did the download complete? I know sometimes web downloads stop half way without an error message. The full file size is 13.1meg.

If the full file was downloaded then either it's been corrupted during the transfer for some reason or it's been modified by something on your machine. (I'd do a virus scan just in case, if you haven't done one in a while.)

It's also possible that a new version of the installer was being copied to the website while you downloaded it. Depending on how the website is set up, that could cause you to download a partial file.

It looks like the installer has changed since this morning but both versions install fine for me. (Not sure what is actually different. Probably a very minor change.)

Same thing happened to me , i used a download manager in firefox, i downloaded a 2.5mb file ( obviously not correct ).

I re-downloaded the file without the DL Manager and got a 13mb file!

That installed fine..

I get 2.3 Mb with or without a download manager, I.E. or Firefox.

I receive the same message here... Corrupted installer.... DOpusInstall.exe has only 2.3 MB here

I cleared the temp folder (not temporary internet files) and tried again.
I got the 13.1 Mb file this time.

FileName: DOpusInstall.exe MD5 2614c1c21de90dfe15536ee5e00fbcf9 Size: 13,457KB File Version: 4.0.100.1190

Today I tried to upgrade to version 9.0.0.2 and the same thing has happened. a 2.86Mb file, using Firefox. I download lots of files OK - Just Opus seems to mess up.

Make sure you clear your firefox cache - it may be picking up an old version of dopusinstall.exe.
