Change default file type

When I double click a .psd in Directory Opus, the file opens in the D.O. viewer rather than photoshop. I have changed the default in Windows to open the file in photoshop but it still op-ens in the D.O. Viewer. How can I chage this please?

I've found the best way is to right click on the .psd file > Open With > Choose Default Program > check the Always Use This App To Open .PSD Files box then double click Photoshop. You may need to browse to the Photoshop program folder on the last step if it is not in the list.

That's what I have done, the problem is that it does not work. It still opens in the D.O. viewer.
I think there must be something overriding the Windows association, something that need to be changed in D.O.

Not in front of computer at the moment but search in Preferences for “recognised” or “images”. Theres an option for all recognised images being shown in the Dopus viewer.

That's the one. It's probably set to "all recognised pictures".
