Back in Windows XP changing drive letter was a snap. Now in Opus, using Win7, If I change Drive "E" to "Y" it shows as "Y (E:). It seems kind of cosmic and not hard wired. I would rather it be "Y".

Did you change the drive letter using diskmgmt.msc in Windows 7? You probably only changed the drive label?
So that's where it was hiding. Thanks for the help. AT&T Support did not even have a clue. So much for the AT&T trial Support. They also cost me a drive.
Thanks again.

Checking out some old topics and wanted to update this one. I'm now using Windows 8 and things have changed, for the most part for the better.
In reference to the spirit of this topic - the first thing to do is to load the start manual and then find what you're looking for by typing the name that closely represents your issue. This I find to be extremely helpful.
Select Start Key (Windows Key) You can also run your mouse to the upper right part of the screen and open the start menu.
Type - disk man... (disk manager)
Select Settings (Right Column)
Select - Create and Format Hard Drive Partitions
It's all there and ready to use.

Hi Bob,
You can save a few steps and no typing.
Move your cursor to the bottom-left corner -> Right-click -> Disk Management
Lots of other goodies in this new, updated, Right-click Start button menu
You are so right. Thanks for the update. The lower left corner is the most!
