Clear_Icon_Cache -- OK to use on Windows 10?

Since 90% of the icons in my Win10 Start menu (and the big scrolling list) are blank, I'm tempted to run Clear_Icon_Cache to see if it helps. (Rumor has it that too many links in the actual Start folder blows up some incompetent menu routine by exceeding an idiotic buffer limit, but I did prune my Start folder down to well under 512 links.)

Is it safe to run Clear_Icon_Cache on Windows 10?

Thanks in advance,

Allen

It shouldn't cause any problems.

Thanks. It seems to have executed without issues. Not too surprisingly, the bugs in Win10/64 Start Menu still leave me with almost no icons, even MS applications.
