Clearing the multiple starting folders in find

After searching files using a list of starting folders i need to clear this list to perform another search.

I noticed that it's necessary to manually remove all items from the list. If the list is really long it may be really annoying. Is a "clear all" button missing or am i missing something?

When one is searching using only a single starting folder the empty list wastes space. It may be useful to being able to collapse it when unused.

Moreover, i insist on the idea of a starting root folder capable of wildcard using "c:\folder_\subfolder_" and so on. The previous example cannot be easily simulated with the multiple starting folder list.

Thanks... Umberto

Hold shift and click the clear button.

I wouldn't be against that, or something similar where the main panel only has a single-line Find-In field but there's a button to pop-up a multi-line field, with the changes reflected back in the single-line field (folders separated by | characters or something).

You can set up advanced searches which will do that, but it is a bit of a pain compared to being able to use wildcards in the Find-In field itself.
