Clever select files

Hi,

when moving a lot of files accross the network to my NAS, I like the new "pending move" icon feature.

It would be great if we could select all remaining files in the folder that are not in the pending move state. I tried ctrl-A multiple times to switch from "Select All files" to "Select All files but pending moved ones" but it does not work.

At least it would be great to have a column with the pending state to be able to sort them easily.

Do you think something can be done ?

Thanks

Nice suggestion, we'll add this in the next update.

But if a file leaves the pending state you will select it again.

Ah, wait, you are moving it so the file will disappear on the source side and you won't be able to re-select it again, correct?

The game changes, however, when you are copying the file. Then a selection, as you would like to see in DO, will select the source files again and again after the copying is done and pending state is cleared.

I don't get your point.
I just want to be able to select all files that will remain in the directory once all moving operations are finished.

But if you move the files from source to destination, they will be deleted from source and never appear again after a successful file operation.

So the remaining ones, on source side, are those that you still want to move to the destination, won't you? So selecting them via CTRL+A won't do the job?

right but the point is to be able to select all those remaining files easily and immediately, without having to wait for the queues to complete.

In a directory without thousands of files, it will be very useful

I see, thanks for this missing piece of information, at least for me it was not fully clear.

Have a nice weekend!
