It should be great if there was an option to close standalone viewer by left mouse clicking (Preferences>Viewer>Viewer(standalone)> Left Mouse Button> Exit Viewer)
I'm sorry, but I do not believe this would not be a good idea. The Opus Viewer Window provides a select function, where you can select a portion of an image, then copy-and-paste it. One must left click in the viewer to select an area, so there would be a conflict.
You can always left-click on the [X] button in the upper right hand corner to close the viewer with a mouse. Pressing the Esc key will also close the viewer in one very quick action.
There wont be any conflicts, since you set LMB and MMB behaviors yourself. I just suggested an extra setting in the option. So you still can set the LMB button as "Select clipboard region" but me and maybe some other people would prefer closing the image after looking just by clicking LMB
Ahh, you are correct--I totally missed that setting!
I recant everything I typed above, and I just submitted an official request on your behalf.
Thanks very much
I've got a mouse with lots of buttons and bind one of them to Close Window or Alt-F4 (depending on which works better in Logitech's current bugfest drivers) so I can close any window with a mouse click. Quite useful, if you have a spare button that's in a place you won't ever hit by accident.
