Close window and open a new default one

Hi. I had a button in version 11 that would close the existing lister and reopen it from it's previously saved state. The commands were:
Close
Go NEW

The Close command works fine but the Go NEW command doesn't open the lister back up. Any advice would be appreciated.

Switch the lines the other way around:

Go NEW
Close
