I am trialing Opus for use on a remotely controlled server that has 6-bit color for a video processor. Therfore, anyappliction that uses gradients or any but the most basic of color palettes looks terrible. I think the limit is the 256 web safe colors.
Here's a screen shot...
You can see that one of the window title bars is unreadable.
Is there a way to get Opus to just use simple colors?
thanks!
Ron
you can change border color in Preferences/Display - Color and Fonts...
and change gradient color for "dest border", "source border" and "off border"
Thanks Albator
Yes, that fixes the border, but thats not the only place where colors are used. THe preferences control some colors, but not others.
I was looking for more of an applicaiton wide skin or something that just fixed the problem once and for all.
And... I stand corrected, the server uses 8 bit color, not 6 bits.

from your screencapture, i can see:
- icon color in toolbar : you can modify Highlighting effect in Preferences/Display - Toolbars and choose grayscale
- and change toolbar style in Preferences/Display - Toolbars, and play with Windows-style highlighting in menus
- you can turn off icon in Lister Preferences/Lister Display Modes - Details Mode
what's again ?
