I prefer to use List mode - so I just get file names, and not the file size, file type, date modified, and all that stuff.
But I continually find that Dopus defaults to a column width which is shorter than some of my file names.
How can I ensure that the column width is always wide enough to show the whole of every file name? Even Windows Explorer manages this!
Turn on auto-size columns in Folder Options or Preferences Folder Formats. (See the FAQ in my sig to learn more about Folder Formats.)
Thanks. That has fixed it, especially now that I have re-saved all my listers after making the setting.
I was especially glad to read the FAQ in your sig - which guided me to the necessary windows from the top-level menu. This is something that I find a particular weakness in the Dopus documentation, which assumes that you know Dopus inside-out already.
